The car was ROUGH and so stressful...I was stressed cause we were driving for so long (nervous that we could have an accident) and I was nervous that he would just keep crying!! He would do well for the first 3 hours or so...but then, it could be bad! I learned that singing to him helps a lot, and shaking his bug toy in front of him violently, while yelling "GOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!!" keeps him from crying...and we had to stop a lot...and we couldnt do as much in one day as we could when we didnt have him...but we decided that if he needed us to stop we would, and we did...but it was a very good trip...we got to meet all the family, and though they can be difficult when they want to be, everyone was on their best behavior around him, and he got SO much love!!!
Chloe-
As for milestones - he laughed for the first time ever on Sunday night, he was in the bath at the hotel, and it was the cutest thing ever and he did it like 5 times (we were squirting water at him with his little rubber duckie

)!! And, he has started scooting around for the first time ever also...its so weird, he cant roll over yet but he will scoot by arching his back, and moving (I guess that isnt technically a milestone, but its the first time he has been able to move on his own

)...eventually I think this will lead to rolling over...
Lindsi- WOW!!
I can't imagine going that far!!
We went from Florida to NJ (near NY) and back...but we did a ton of driving around while up there as well...he got much better at riding in the car by the end of the trip which was cool too
