Hi ladies.
Hope you dont mind if I pop in and ask a question...
How many of ye really thought AF was coming before you got your BFP... I really feel like AF is on the way I have the pre AF cramps. I'm 12DPO of an IUI cycle...

right here, Becks! Remember mine? What I thought was an evap at 10DPO, ready to give up on TTC altogether with the cramps and hormonal feelings I was having, totally convinced that AF was going to show up any minute and ruin my day. For me, AF and BFP felt very similar. Well, my reaction was completely different (obviously) - but the cramps and sore feelings and everything, very similar. Even the sore boobs! Don't give up yet - I'm sending you some Canadian BFP dust - this stuff seems to work pretty well!

I did the first time. In fact the ONLY reason i tested was to make the witch come...
This time i found out so early that i didn't even have time for that...but even if i had this time was different. Didn't have many symptoms at all really early.

I thought my BFP was AF. I was actually spotting too so I was sure it was AF. I remember crying to DH on mother's day because I was sure I was never going to get pg since I was out another cycle. 2 days later I tested on a hunch and even with all the spotting it was a BFP! And now I have a healthy baby boy.
So, don't lose hope, you could still be pg.

Yep. Pre-BFP cramps feel like pre-AF cramps. In fact, I've had these kind of cramps since the week before I found out and they only stopped a few days ago. I kept thinking AF would show up even after I had the BFPs!
I hope this is it for you

I tested early and got my BFP, but had I not tested and waited till AF was due, I would have thought I was out another cycle because I was cramping.
Adding to Cheryl's Canadian Dust for you!

I can't really remember for me but then again I was testing early because of the prometrium supplement.
But if you remember Kim (KDD) before her BFP - she was convinced that she was going to get AF and didn't even look at the test!

I definitely felt like AF would show up any minute and even stocked the BR at work with tampons!

I totally felt like AF was coming, my temp dropped too! I'm still getting them 2 weeks later... and I keep running to the bathroom convinced that she's going to arrive.

With the IUI cycle it seemed like for a week I would go to the bathroom to check to see if AF was there because I had them and it wasn't until later that I even tested to get my bfp. I so hope this is a good sign for you Rebecca!

I definitely thought I was about to start my period. I had the cramps, the bloating, everything. In fact a few days before my BFP, I was cramping really bad and remember complaining to my friend that I was about to start my period any minute. Guess not

To add to what everyone else has said, I absolutely though AF was on its way.
In fact, I had stuck a pad in my purse because we were going out to dinner the night before Valentine's date and I told DH that I knew AF was coming "any minute now" so I better be "prepared" if she arrives during dinner. The pad remained in my purse for the entire pregnancy and everytime I looked at it, I would chuckle
Good luck with the testing!

I am an "older" grad, but I lurk in here all of the time and post sometimes. I know that you have been here for quite a while!!
I NEVER EVER EVER thought that I was pregnant. On a whim, I decided that I needed to test before I picked up my script for CLOMID, yes, I was due to start clomid on my upcoming cycle. So, I went home on my lunch break from work and to take a pregnancy test, and I was SHOCKED!! My BFP!! So yeah, I thought that I would be getting AF soon!!
TONS and TONS of luck to you Rebecca!!

True, true. I was 100% convinced that AF was going to show up right on time (even though I was on prometrium and another drug). I started cramping the day before she was due. I even left work early that day because I was so upset. I tested only because 1 - I had a LOT of tests and 2 - I really needed a drink!
Good luck Becks. Here's more Canadian BFP dust:
