I waited until 14 weeks until i really considered myself in the 2nd tri but i started thinking it at 13...

I asked my midwife because I was so confused by all the info and she said the 2nd tri starts at 13. But I also have friends who have been told by theirs that 12 weeks is or 14 weeks is. So I guess it's whatever makes you happy

Technically it's 13 weeks 3 days - but I considered myself in it at 13 weeks.

I am like Kate - I waited until I hit 14 weeks to actually feel like I was in the second trimester (and thus started telling people) but I started thinking about it at 13 weeks.

wow Bliss thanks! That was semi confusing yet helpful!!! You know what's funny? That the JM pregnancy calender is the one that tells me that 12 weeks is the 2nd tri!!!!!!???? wth?

I consider 14 weeks to be the start of the 2nd trimester - since you're *technically* not pg for the first 2 weeks.
