18 week ultrasound results (x-posted)

Before I start, please do not say anything on Facebook or my blog. We are not telling anyone IRL (that's the plan anyway, DH already thinks he's going to screw it up).

Our 18 week ultrasound was today. I was more scared than excited. But the baby was moving around from the second that she put the wand on. (obviously before that, but I still can't feel it).

So, here's our baby:

And, it's a boy! DH is so excited! I think he was worried about the possibility of playing tea party or princess. Now he's super excited about the possibility of playing with action figures and Lego!

I will have to go back for another u/s at about 28 weeks. There is a tiny chance for placenta previa and the baby was not cooperating so they couldn't get a clear shot. The tech said it's only a precaution so I'm not worried.

OMG Kim that is so awesome! And he is SO cute... Those are some clear u/s pics, too! I love the face one!

Congrats girlie! I hope it is sinking in, you're pregnant and you're having a BOY!!!!

Yay!!! Congrats on a great ultrasound. And having a boy! I know either way DH would have made had fun (even with tea parties and dressup) but I am sure he is ecstatic to get to dress your little one in Riders Green and not have to add pink!

Fantastic pictures too - very clear!

The pictures are great aren't they? We opt to get the photos on CD (which costs more, but you get more) so they're easier to share online. I love the one with the ear!
