So my Dh just called his school to find out when the entrance workshop for student loans was, and they tell him they are no longer doing student loans. I was thinking ok maybe somebody didn't know what they were talking about. So I called up there, and asked for myself and was todl the same thing. I proceeded to lose it on the lady. I told her off and she was like our director is not in today. Umm, don't tell someone that and not be prepared to take the heat that follows. That is $2500 we had been counting on to make improvements to the house(Pell pays for all/most of his school costs) as well get things for school and baby. Then in Jan. when I started practice teaching we were counting on that money to help him not have to work so he could be home with baby girl. So not are we only screwed out of the money, he now has to start paying back. So we are screwed. This also likely means that instead of going to school and working part-time, he will be going to work full-time and not going to school. I'm just so mad, sad, confused, and thinking what do we do now. Please pray for us. Oh and the reason they stopped doing the loans is the board voted to stop, that's all the lady would tell me over the phone.

I can only say that it is possible to work fulltime and go to school either parttime or fulltime. I worked fulltime throughout both my bachelors and masters (went parttime school for bachelors and fulltime school for masters). It's exhausting but can be done.
