Maybe its that time...maybe its b/c i've been worrying about having lots of friends and co-workers over in a couple of weeks, know i don't have much time to get everything done. But all of a sudden I want everything clean and pretty looking and matchy matchy and organized and crazy!!! For me this is weird...piles don't bother me, unfolded laundry doesn't bother me, toothpaste on the mirror doesn't bother me...until now. My mom is gonna die of shock. I ordered a new duvet today b/c i decided that our recently purchased one isn't what i want to match the sheets I intend to put on the bed...have i lost my mind or what?! And i've done like 400 loads of laundry int he last couple of days, including TONS of baby stuff and stuff i've been putting off since we moved in here in February!! I hope this keeps up!

I am not quite as bad as you are yet Kate but I think the nesting is hitting slowly here too. I also don't mind a "lived in" house but we have been crossing projects off our list that was created when we moved in - 3 years ago!

Feel free to come on over anytime if you need more to clean.

Other than regular cleaning I'm avoiding anything big until our renovations are done.

I don't mind a lived in house either, but things still have to be orderly. I've been on a cleaning train in the last few weeks though. I've cleaned up cars, the house, and been shampooing furniture like crazy. I completely cleaned out the nursery and gotten all the laundry caught up. I've also gone through my clothes and gotten rid of the things I will never wear and stuff that was to small. So taking a short break this week and then it's right back to the grindstone next week. School starts back soon and I know I won't feel like doing it then!!! I really need nursery furniture before I can do anything else in there!!!

Definitely take advantage of it! I never had the nesting kicked in and now I'm too sore to do anything about it IF I had it, which I don't. I got everything prepared for baby and washed all his clothes and organized all his things but as for the rest of the house I could care less...poor DH Maybe it will kick in for me after he's here and we start getting read to move? I sure hope so!

I've been doing that too. Also been throwing out stuff while DH is at work. He is such a pack rat. Things look so much better without all his crap lying around
