What are typical prices on clothes and things like jumperoo's? I'm trying to save up some cash for the one in a couple of weeks so i need to know how much to take! Also do they take credit cards? and do you really have to get there super early and wait in line like i've heard?

You can register online as a first time mom and get in early. That's the best way to get nice things. Or at least it is around here. I did that last fall and we picked up so many amazing things. You can also get in early by volunteering. I may do that this fall as this spring we barely found anything worth buying. I saw pictures of what was there for the volunteers nad first time parents and there was loads of great stuff.

Prices around here vary a lot. Some things are a really good deal and others are super high. People mark their own prices, so there may be 10 of the same thing and obviously the cheapest ones in the best condition go first. The last day of the sale some things are 1/2 price, so that's when we tend to pick up a lot of clothes.

They do take credit cards. I don't know about standing in line as I've never had to do that around here.

The one I went to had really high prices! I was shocked at what they wanted for things. So I left and started looking on craigslist and got much better deals that way.

I'm sure it varies by area though so it wouldn't hurt to just go and check it out.

I do best on clothes the last day when some things are 1/2 off. Unless there is something specific you are looking for then you should be fine waiting.

I've found that lots of people buy things at The Children's Place or Target on sale and then try to sell them for more at JBF than they paid for them. I agree that sometimes you are better off buying things through Craigslist or even at a garage sale. The last JBF sale I was at had a ton of Hannah Anderson things. Some of them were cute, but the seller wanted a fortune for them.

same as val said...fall was great, spring had nothing good...
clothes here were really cheap, most under$2...last day 1/2 price is great, but the cutest stuff will probably be gone by then...
