When did yours stop? And how? I know I'm not even 3 weeks PP yet, but this is getting really frickin annoying... I have NO bleeding all day long, just yellowish discharge (and even that goes away) except for early to mid afternoon EVERY SINGLE DAY I'll get these strange stringy bits of blood when I go to the bathroom... I don't get why they won't go away!
Anyone else experience that? And when did it finally STOP? This has been going on for a week now...

I am still just bleeding. Not as heavy as before, but still enough to change a liner several times a day. So annoying. It had lightened to a pink/tan discharge and then out of nowhere it's back to red again. Fabulous. I was hoping EBF would help it stop sooner.

Paula, I thought the same thing. So much for that idea... It's just annoying because 1, I hate pads, and 2, even though I've gotten the okay to DTD as soon as I'm ready (and believe it or not, I'm very much ready...) DH refuses to even discuss it until my PP bleeding has stopped. He's afraid I'll get an infection or something, even though the midwives said thats highly unlikely considering I've already been on a course of antibiotics, my uterus is back to its original size, my bleeding has pretty much stopped, and most women can return to "activity" within 2-3 weeks without problems unless they have risk factors (like a bad tear, an infection, heavier bleeding, etc.)
Ugh...

OMG, I am SO ready to DTD. I don't go to the doc again until 6 weeks and was told to wait until then. Bleeding or not, I am ready haha. I thought I would ne very anti-sex after giving birth, but my sex drive is still in tact. Whew.

1st time, EBF and my bleeding finally stopped 3 months later and I got my first PP AF 4 weeks after that
this time, EBF and I've pretty much stopped bleeding. I've had very, very light spotting here and there over the last 1.5-2 weeks.

Oh YAY! So from the sounds of it, I could have anywhere from 3 weeks to 2.5 months more of this. Yipee! UGH... LOL
I'll take morning sickness over this ANY day!

I work at a hospital as a nurse and we always tell new mom's you could have flow for up to 6 weeks. So sorry for the bad news. The good news is you might not go that long and it should get very light. Best of luck.

I was told the "normal" is 4-6 weeks PP...I think I stopped around 5 weeks. I was also told not to DTD until my 6 weeks PP check.

I had light, irregular bleeding up until about 8 weeks. I only had heavy to medium bleeding the first couple of weeks though.

I had irregular bleeding through 8 weeks. My doctor had told me that breastfeeding actually made it last a little longer (6-8 weeks).
