It started with me being slightly behind my normal schedule because I didn't stop for gas last night... but decided to do it this morning instead. Why is that important... on my way to work I found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time and was rear ended. The guy hit me pretty hard - his car is totalled... we will find out the estimated damage on our vehicle. I was completely stopped and am guessing he hit me going about 40-50km/hour. Because of the damage I sent myself to the L&D to get checked out.
After the baby being checked out at L&D quickly, I was sent to the ER to be cleared and then it was back to L&D. I stayed all day. I was monitored for about 5-6 hours and was kept there to get an ultrasound. The ultrasound didn't happen today but they let me come home as long as I come back tomorrow for that ultrasound. I am supposed to have a doctors appointment tomorrow at the same time as they want me back for the ultrasound so it will be another day at the hospital/doctor.
But the good news is that both me and baby are doing well. Baby is kicking up a storm and even got the hiccups while being monitored. I was told to be very vigilant tonight and if ANYTHING feels wrong to come back in but so far so good.
I will update tomorrow after my second day of monitoring and doctors visits.

Glad you're okay!! UGH i fear getting in an accident all of the time. There are so many idiot drivers out there. Did he have any reason for you or feel bad b/c you're ultra preggo?!! If it were me it would take everything in my power not to flip out b/c you're potentially injuring my BABY! At least you didn't have the car seat in yet like poor Dawn...
Glad to hear little baby is good and that you are being super monitored...its always scary even if everything is okay!!

Oh no. I have to say that I am way more afraid of the other drivers on the road now than ever before. I'm glad that all seems to be okay. On the plus side, you get to see Baby L one more time! Let us know how it goes.

Back from another crazy day. It was no where near as eventful as yesterday but I did have my ultrasound today. Baby looks good - placenta looks good and no bleeds are visible. That is all good stuff. Baby is measuring BIG (still). Today Baby is measuring 5 lb 13 oz. After the ultrasound I headed to my normal 32 week appointment. Looks like I will see Baby one more time before he/she is born. My doctor said I will need another ultrasound around 37-38 weeks to check weight since baby is so big but GREAT news - NO GD for me!! I passed my 2 hour GD test.
I am feeling pretty sore and achy but for the most part I am doing ok.
I had actually asked Steve to put the car seat in last week. I wanted to put it in and check out its "fit" and just be ready. But this time I love that he procrastinated on that one! Insurance would have been buying a new one for us anyway but it is definitley better not to have to deal with it.

Baby L is measuring BIG and just moved in the last few weeks - Tyler still has lots of room to turn. Baby L's space is getting limited!
