I was really nervous about getting checked and nearly chickened out. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, that was very uncomfortable! Butttttt I'm 1cm dilated and the midwife's words were "very soft" & "I can feel his head"! I was expecting there to be absolutely nothing going on so I'm a tiny bit excited that my body knows it's having a baby I'm still hoping for him to stay put till my mom gets here on the 10th though!

Its not the most pleasant feeling, but not the worst either. YAH for progress!!!

I have to laugh at the thought of the baby never coming out...he's just happy to hang!! Glad you got that over with. I got checked at 28 weeks just to make sure everything was still nice and high...which was good and totally easy. I had never even thought it would be uncomfortable so thanks for the warning!!
