OK ladies, I am currently TTC#2 and on cycle #2 after the Mirena removal. That cycle I just chalked up to a wash because of the removal. I ended up starting AF at 8DPO??? Anyway, this cycle is being just as screwy. I have the CBEFM and on currently on CD 14 and it's still showing low????? So I've also been doing OPK's. I've attached two pics, the first was yesterday at CD13 and today's at CD14. What do you all think?
CD13
CD14
Now last night in the evening I took another OPK and it was definitely lighter than the test that CD13 showed??? What are your thoughts????

I ocasionally have gotten 2 days of a positive but not always. It depends on how long your surge is. If you do another one later today and it is lighter I would say you just missed your surge and last night was a fluke. Either way, I would BD just in case the next few days!

IDK Gwen, those are not my favorite OPK. Honestly i LOVE $tree OPKs and cheapies... I find the Answers too hard to read and don't know that they ever give a darker test line. Are you charting this time??
My SIL got pregnant on her 2nd cycle after her removal and is now 26 weeks pregnant with my first nephew! Just wanted to wish you luck as well!!

Thanks! I'm not temping but sort of tracking CM and yesterday I had some EWCM??? So depending on what tomorrow says I will probably just count yesterdays as positive??? Have to buy some more OPK's today so I will try a different brand. I should have got digi ones. I decided not to chart right away because we didn't want all that stress and honestly I was really relying on that dang CBEFM and that seems to be failing me. Who knows??? I'm just driving myself crazy with overanalyzing it again and again!!!! So I thought I'd let my other overanalyzers have some fun too!!!!!

I also rarely got two positives, I would just say BD away for now and you should be covered. I always knew retrospectively which was positive because I could see at that point which of the darkest tests was darker. Make sense? The EWCM day though is probably your positive. I agree with April about testing twice today. When I started getting the really dark ones, I would always test twice on those days! Obsessed much? LOL!
About your CBEFM...did you just get it or have you not used it in a while? If that is the case, I almost always had to let it "learn" my normal for one cycle before I found it to be accurate. After that, it was always dead on.

Thanks ladies! I will test again this evening and of course, BD!!! We have been Bding every other day since AF left. I know there are a ton of different schools of thought but what do you thinka bout BDing every day???
Ash, I used my CBEFM before so I just haven't used it in a very long time. This is the first cycle using it this time. IT's just so weird that I would get a potential + on OPK but still showing low on my CBEFM??? IDK!

I don't think that either is +. CD 13 looks closer but not quite. I would use the digi ones because there is no mistaking a surge with them. Good luck!

I have to agree with Kim on the digis. And really, i bought mine on ebay which may sound crazy but i got some great deals b/c i know they're not cheap...
I never used a CBEFM but i know what you mean on the over-analyzing and i'm ALWAYS happy to over-analyze other people's tests and such!
I did get more than 1 day of + OPKs, usually 2...but that's why i had to go with cheapies...plus i'm a test-a-holic!!

Oh I'm such a test-a-holic!!! Love it! K I will buy a different brand (if I can ever get to the store....Paige decided to take a 3 hour nap today). Had more EWCM today though so makes me think that I am in fact O'ing or about it...guess I know what I'm doing tonight!!!!

this is exciting I love TTC'ers!! I would go with the digis....so much easier to read!!
We BD'd every other day the cycle I got pregnant from the day AF left until CD25 (I ended up Oing on CD21 so I'm glad I was temping because we would have missed it if I went off the traditional CD14 theory!!)

Thanks ladies. I am excited and nervous and anxious about this whole TTC#2 process!!! I bought some digi OPK's just now (man they are NOT cheap!) but were on sale at least. I will do one tonight and there should be no question. Unforunately, DH and I have to go to a visitation for his aunt so we will have to try extra hard to "get in the mood" after that...fun stuff huh?

Congrats on TTC#2! I think the 1st one looks slightly darker than the 2nd one, but they could both be positive. I got 2 positives on a digi when I got pregnant with Camden. Good luck!

I was thinking about you the other day wondering how TTC was going!!!
I used the OPK's from here: Early Pregnancy Tests and Ovulation Predictor Kits for Home Use along with the Pre-Seed and liked them. I don't think either of them look positive either so I'd keep BD'ing!

Answer OPKs suck! Definitely get another brand...ICs are the BEST because you can test as often as you want and not feel guilty about the $$$ Good luck to you!
