HELLO!!!! Well, you might be missing one person, but I will let her explain if she wants!!! As for me...well, after 19 days I FINALLY got a peak reading on the CBEFM!!!! However, I do have an update. We have to put TTC#2 on hold for a month or so...BOO, I know. Here's the thing, I've been battling an arm injury for quite a while and had a follow up doc appointment the other day. Turns out I'm gonna have to have surgery on my arm to repair some nerve damage. It's a quick recovery, but obviously, I can't be prego and have surgery. And since we were trying this cycle, I have to wait until I AF shows up or a BFP shows up before I can schedule the surgery. So, just like that, I went from TTC to hoping I don't get prego so I can have this surgery. UGH so frustrating huh!!!! So I'm officially in the 2WW and we will see. Also, I'm actively trying to get a new position on the police department and don't want to get it and then have to be on limited duty right away becuase I'm prego. So, that's my update. Surgery then TTC! I'll tell the other "older grads" about this thread! Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Hi girls!

Doing well here. Only 5.5 weeks until our little girl gets here! I still can't really believe it's all real sometimes. I know we are going to be in for a busy couple of years with two babies 15 months apart. We still have tons to do before she gets here including cleaning out our office and turning it into Brady's room, then turning Brady's room into the new girl nursery. Not sure how we'll get it all done in time.

Still planning on a repeat c-section at 38 weeks for medical reasons. Last growth u/s showed she might be a little behind and is showing some signs of IUGR which I had with Brady. I have another u/s next Friday to see how she is doing now. If growth isn't that great, she may end up having to come even earlier than 38 weeks. So it's just a waiting game right now.

That's about it here! Brady is still only a crawling champ. No walking yet, and I don't see it happening any time too soon. He cruises on the furniture, but he stinks at balancing on his own. We're thinking it might be time for his first haircut soon since as you can see from my siggy, it's getting kind of shaggy!

Oh and I went back to work teaching after being off for a whole year. It's hard being a working mom! I get home so exhausted and still have to take care of Brady, do laundry, clean up, do dinner, etc. Kudos to all you moms who have been doing it all along! I'm already ready for my next maternity leave.

Well, I am here! Elliott is doing great--walking and talking like a champ! This week we found out that he is going to be a big brother in May! I am still in shock, as it was our first month TTC and that was without meds at all (I have PCOS and needed Clomid, metformin, herbs, acupuncture, etc. the first time around). This might just be a miracle baby.

We already have two, so aren't TTC#2. We are NTNP. I'm not ready for another, but would be excited if we got prego. I haven't had a PP AF and still nurse a lot, so I know I won't be getting prego any time soon. I do know you can get prego while nursing, but I check CM and cervical position and nothing is changing. As long as it isn't there is no reason to prevent. Ideally I'd like to start trying 6 to 9 months from now, and I think I will need to have the kids completely weaned to get AF back.

A&E turned 1 last month. I can't believe it's already been a month. Anyway, they are both taking steps on their own. Neither walks from an object. They both stand in the middle of a room and go. They're eager to be able to get around and I'm looking forward to them walking. They still don't sleep, but each time they figure out how to move a different way they get so much happier. We took them camping last weekend and they had a blast. I'm not sure we could have handled it with two any earlier, but we hope to do more camping next summer and possibly a little this fall.

Love this thread! Yes, we are TTC#2. We did the same thing this cycle as we did with Haylea (Femara/Follistim and IUI) I will be testing in the next few days.

Haylea is almost 13 months and she is so much fun! Still only crawling and cruising on furniture...she is afraid to let go but I am sure she could balance if she tried.

AWW Congrats Courtney!! That is really amazing and also great motivation to those of us that took forEVER to get pregnant. What is it about baby #2, they seem to be faster than #1?! That is excellent news!! H&H 9 months!!

Gwen, good luck next month! Glad you finally got your peak reading!

Lauren that is so close. You and I are gonna have babies just days apart it looks like, as long as mine stays in until his eviction date! lol

Andrea, excited to see you TTC again!!

Tonya, you are like the only person in the world ASKING for AF to show up... Can't wait for you to TTC again too!!

Congrats to all those preggo and have uncoming babies. Gwen, I hope your surgery goes well and you get the position you seek.

Tonya...you can have my AF.

As for us, we are not ready for another but are not doing anything to prevent since it took us so long for the first one...so #2 could be on the way next month or in 2 years.

Congrats, Courtney!!!! I think your body knows what to do so it's easier to get preggo second time around?? it took my sister 2 years to get pregnant the first time around and then the second time, she got pregnant the first month trying!!! crazy

I'm happy for everyone TTC or pregnant!! It definitely is hard to keep up with all the new grads working FT and being a mom

Congrats Courtney!!!!
So exciting that it took so much less time the second time around, thats what freaks me out the most is wondering how long it will take, and weighing that with getting older...

LeeAnn,
I'll take that AF any time now
