I am pretty sure over the past few days I have developed pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome. It's awful - and dare I say worse than the heart burn I have had from week 16 on. I can't even brush my teeth without my middle finger going tingly.

Anyone have a magic cures for me?! I would settle for ideas that would give me relief and let me get through normal day to day activities.

The only cure I have found is....dealing with it. LOL. I have at least managed to discover that I get some relief from an elastic band that supports my wrist. This is exactly what I use Walmart.com: Mueller Elastic Wrist Support: Medicine Cabinet I have carpal tunnel anyway, so now include the pregnancy carpal tunnel and I can't hold my phone, write much of anything, let alone do much with the computer. I wake up every morning in near screaming pain just trying to shower and get ready for school. I fortunately have only developed it that bad in one hand. The other doesn't bother me at all.

No magic cure, mine has weakened my right hand a lot. My finger tips are still numb, but not painful at all!!! I took tylenol pm to help me sleep through the pain (which didnt work much) and splints. I was SOOO desperate to relieve the pain I made an appt to get the steroid shot, but cancelled at the last minute. It finally got better at night towards the last few weeks. You can ice it too, but that just made mine worse.
