What kind of crib did you buy? When did you buy em?

I lost my chance at getting a great deal of crib and changing table from Target 1 or 2 weeks ago. They were out of stock. Darn.

ETA: Did you use bassinet?

I got lucky and found a great deal on a used crib and armourie. We are ordering a dresser this weekend to double as a changing table.

I didn't get a bassinet, I opted to just use the bassinet insert of a pack-n-play.

We went to baby boutique and got a floor model crib and dresser set. The crib can convert to a toddler bed and a full size bed after. Thats what we wanted, that way we arenet buying a ton of stuff down the road.

We also got a bassient from Burlington coat factorys baby depot for our room for Jacksons first 3 months. Thats when he started to already outweight the bassinett.

This is Siera's crib but she only slept in there for naps until she was 5-6 months old. Then we put her in there for the night

Babi Italia

My friend lent us a bassinet that we used for the first few months. I wouldn't have bought one if she didn't give it to us but I would've used a Pack N Play. Here is Siera's PNP (we kept it at my parents house since I was there often enough) -

Deco Pack N Play

Savannah has the Babys Dream Generation Next line - crib - double dresser and 3 drawer dresser/changer...

I really wish that we didn't get such expensive furniture - we wound up cosleeping so she's only ever used it to sit in while I get her an outfit or something.. o well though - at least it's convertible so she can use it when she's bigger.

We got a pack and play with the bassinet/newborn napper addition - definitely came in handy.

We got a crib from BRU for around 169 with 20% off, a super deal.

Graco Lauren Classic Crib - Espresso - Graco - Babies "R" Us

We were given an eddie bauer bassinet so we are double lucky.

Eddie Bauer Classic Rocking Bassinet (White on White) 10832WOW

Next time, you should ask Target if they would give you a rain check for the item that was on sale but out of stock, I wonder if that would have worked...

Tyler has the storkcraft tuscany in espresso.

Amazon.com: Stork Craft Tuscany 4-in-1 Stages Crib, Espresso: Baby

with this dresser to match:
Amazon.com: Stork Craft Beatrice 5 Drawer Chest - Espresso: Baby

unfortunately the dresser isn't super sturdy but what can i expect. We put some extra support boards in it though b/c once he's a toddler we're gonna have to be careful.

we got this changing table, which I am very happy with:
Amazon.com: Graco Lauren Dressing Table, Espresso: Baby

We didn't get a bassinet, we're gonna use the pack n play in our room until we move him to his room. We did the PNP that has the newborn sleeper though.

Graco Newborn Napper Pack 'n Play Playard - Lowery : Target

We don't have a crib yet. My parents are going to buy one for us. This is the one that we picked out:

Chanderic Bradford Convertible Crib - Cherry - Shermag - Babies"R"Us

But my mom didn't like it.

So this is our second choice:

Chanderic Michelle Convertible Fixed Rail Crib - Black Walnut - Shermag - Babies"R"Us

I don't know if she's ordered it yet or not.

We just ordered this one:

Amelia Convertible Crib - Mocha*-*buybuy BABY

Everyone says to get a pack n play and not a bassinet but honestly our bedroom is so small that a pack n play will not fit next to our bed. I want the baby to be in our room at least for the first few weeks. Does anyone have experience with the co-sleeper?
