I ordered a doppler from amazon.com today! I want a peace of mind!

Who has bought a doppler? Did you like it?

We talked about getting one a few times then agreed that it would probably make me more nervous if I couldn't find the HB. Good luck with yours Aaron. I hope you can find the HB right away!

Which one did you get from Amazon? I ordered one and mine ended up being kind of crappy, but it was definitely reassuring. I didn't get a steady heartbeat on it until about 16 weeks. I still use it every once in awhile now if she doesn't move too much since I get nervous. I hope you are able to find the heartbeat quickly!

I thought about getting one but, like Kim, DH convinced me it would make me worry. And he was so right... at my 12 week appointment my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat because my placenta is anterior. So have fun, but don't get worried if you can't find it right away.

I did get one on Amazon. I got the Sonoline B and i first heard the HB between 11 & 12 weeks

I got a cheaper one from BRU. It was twenty dollars, and I could hear the heart beat right away because I only used it during my 3rd trimester. I had increasing dreams of loosing Rayanne, so it gave me peice of mind.
