Sorry I haven't been posting much. I have been having an awful time with my internet company. For a while we supposedly didn't have enough signal to even tell we had a modem in the house. Now they can finally detect that, but every time a train goes by on the track in front of our house our internet gets knocked out from anywhere from 3mins-2hrs. I've been doing most of my reading posts at school, but in order to get everything read in my short break and have lunch, I just don't have time to respond. But in regards to internet at the house I have added the insurance that protects us from charges, and once it has sat on there a week or so I will call and have someone come out and check everything out if we continue to have problems. Dh has an internet class and alot of my things for class have to be done on the internet.

You may know this you may not. My BFF from high school was due 2 weeks before me. Sadly she went into PTL at 19 weeks on May 18 and they were unable to stop it. Well a couple of months ago she got preggers again. She doesn't have an incompentent cervix, but a short cervix. She was told in May that if when she got pregnant again she would be getting a cerclage(sp). When she went to her appointment on Thursday, they have decided not to do the stitch. She's a slow healer(supposedly), but they said to much risk of infection and PTL if they do put the stitch in. Also her cervix has already started to shorten. She is due April 8. At this point I'm absolutely terrified that the past is going to repeat itself. They haven't put her completely on to bedrest, she basically has permission to be a couch potato. So some extra T & P's for her, her Dh, and family would be greatly appreciated. She will be recieving weekly progestrone injections, and see the doc's every 2 weeks.

Also I've been having some problems at school. People who were my "friends" last semester will not speak to me this semester. This is mostly because of 1 girl. I've been feeling like the social outcast again and just in general struggling emotionally. Also Dh thinks he can help me just 1 day a week. And be bossy and mean the rest of the time. I've had my mom come up here and talk to him. I'm still on the mend from the sinus cold I had and stuggling with my allergies. It literally takes all I have to go to school on TH. I'm still doing 90% of the cooking and cleaning, when my mom isn't here. Then yesterday at the grocery store my mom just kept yelling at me not to lift anything. Ummm, who do you think lifts and carries around my probably 30lb backpack, ohh and I have to go up and downstairs. Not to sound ungrateful, but thanks for caring, why are you just not acting like this though. PREGNANT not HELPLESS!!!

But for now I must get busy! I have 2 pot roasts to cook, 2 pans of brownies to make, homemade bananna nut waffles to make, laundry to get done, and some homework to get done. Then I must head off to my parents house to do some studying for a test!! Going to be a busy day, but I'm finally well rested again. I slept until 11am yesterday(about 12 hours) and about 10am today(about 9 hours).

Awww, hang in there Amy!! I know you have a lot going on lately...soon Mary Beth will be here and everything will hopefully get better!! I hear ya on people griping at you about not lifiting. I've been wrestling 40+ lb kids for the last 8 1/2 months and NOW you're concerned about me?! OKAY!! I wouldn't lift if i couldn't.

Also, I will keep your friend in my Ts and Ps. That is very scary and I hope they do keep a close eye on her! I hate to see those things happen to people.

So I wound up caving and having my mom come to me yesterday. I was supposed to take stuff to her house and study there, but at 5:30pm I still hadn't finished the laundry. And was starting to get tired. This morning all the laundry is done and all that remains to be put away is the basket of folded clothes. Mom and I are will later be making a decision about who will be doing the travelling today. I have another test tomorrow. But for now I think I'm gonna have a little breakfast and do some reading.
