Kate... that means you!!! lol you are soooooooooooooooo creative and I need your help!!! my SIL and I are throwing her little sister a baby shower... I need some cute ideas for the decorations... shes having a girl... so yeah lol any ideas for me?!?!?

Ok, what colors is she doign in the nursery, when is she due, any themes she especially loves? When are you planning on having the shower? i have lots of questions...

so far I got NOTHING!!! lol we just decided this last weekend that we were going to do it in november before thanksgiving because that will give her enough time to get what she needs to get before her baby comes... shes due in Feb. and I think shes going to try to do like a pale pink and brown and cream colors... and I dont think she has any themes that she loves...

Ok, you can do those colors as your theme, or you can do something else but that would be easy to find things for. We did this sky blue color for my SILs shower and it ended up being such a pain! So you're looking for decorations?? I made that wreath recently that i LOVED, and everyone thought it was adorable. It just depends on what activities you have planned, how much space you have, how many people you'll have that will effect your decorations. I'm THRILLED to help out. I love doing stuff like that and I'm pretty bored right now being at home just waiting on Tyler to get here!

You can also have your food match your color scheme which is fun. I'm just not really sure where to begin. Have you looked at invites you like? Sometimes that will give you inspiration as to where to start.

We did a shower for my sister after her baby was born and we didn't do much of a "theme" we just did colors. Basicaly the theme was baby girl. There was pink decorations and stuff but nothing too over the top. Then we did mostly finger food that people just casually ate when they wanted too (included cupcakes instead of a cake). And she specifically requested no baby shower games. It was a very simple shower but it was exactly what she wanted. Perhaps ask the mom to be if there is anything she wants or does not want.

if you check out that tiny prints website there are TONS of them...i could have looked all day. That first invite is very simple, the only thing is you'd have to get a good pic of mommy-to-be.

I really liked the look of the pink/brown/orange, which may just be my personal preference...its just that it would tie in the fall timing with your shower colors. IDK? May just be me. You just have a harder time finding cute paper products out of season. What else....

hahaha Cake and pizza...that's awesome!!!! Pizza will be VERY easy.

We had no games at my shower or my SILs shower. I think most people are kinda over games, but I'd ask the MTB if she wants them. My other suggestion is to have a table when guests come in where people address their own thank yous. It makes it SOOOO much easier when sending them back out.

OK judging by that i'd say she likes pretty classical stuff? I'd love to say do a pretty/romantic type shower...but then again she wants pizza! lol Maybe gourmet pizza?! lol
