Went into the hospital this morning to check on my progress. Nothing really - still only 1-2cm dilated but the doctor assured me my cervix is very soft. So they put in another cervidil and we are back to square one. We go through the day just like yesterday (calling in every 4 hours, going in if water breaks, etc) and will go back in tomorrow morning for another check and HOPEFULLY will start IV induction rather than another cervidil.

Things went "well" I guess. Nothing really happening except for lots of low pressure but we do go in again in the morning for either more induction or a c-section (either it will be tomorrow or we will schedule it). We shall see what happens in the morning. So far Baby L is happy to stay where he or she is!

So for those of you who knew I was supposed to be going in to start the induction process. I was told to wait at home and the hospital would call when they had an availability - not unusual here. But I never got a call... so at 5 pm I called them and found out it will not be happening today. We will try again tomorrow.
What a frustrating and boring day.

oh man that stinks!!! i would be so annoyed to have been sitting around all anxious all day! oh well, tomorrow is another day! make sure you get a nice back rub tonight!!

Attempt 2 is on. Yesterday they couldn't even bother to call and tell me it was off... today they call while I was still asleep! Talk about the 2 extremes!!

Induction started and going as well as can be expected. Nothing really happening yet except a lot of really low pressure. If nothing happens today I go back in tomorrow morning to reassess and decide whether it is c-section time or if they want to try another round of induction.
I am hoping that the pressure/cramps I am having are a good sign that things are working!

did they start you on pitocin? I had a lot of lower pressure too where I had to moan through them. Get some rest when you can, if you even can.  So excited for you!!!
