Hey all, just thought i would let you guys know how Michael is doing, i havent posted an "update" in a while

So he had his 9 month pedi check up today and all is well. He weighs 15lbs 11ish oz, honestly i'm surprised by this because when we weigh him at home he's at least 16lbs but i guess the difference is the time of day, clothes etc... who knows. Anyway, he's 26 1/2 inches and i dont remember how big his head is but apparently his head has had a growth spurt bec/ its now on the curve for his actual age. I don't know what percentile he's in for his adjusted age because his pedi charts on his actual age (he doesnt expect him to be on it, he does it because he'll eventually catch up) and he jumped up a bit and is getting close to getting on curve for his actual age. He thinks maybe by his 12 or 15 month check ups he might be on the curve for actual age. All he asked about development wise was if he can roll over, so i guess we're doing fine with milestones, lol. Oh! And we also learned the nasty crusty stuff he gets in his ear is cradle cap also, hmm... who knew? Other then that he just got his hep B vaccine and flu shot and we were on our way.

I dont know when i last updated so forgive me if i repeat myself... Generally speaking, all of his "preemie" issues are now cleared up. He went to the eye doctor a few weeks ago and they've given him the all clear as far as his ROP and now we just need to take him to regular checkups to watch for nearsightedness. If he does end up needing glasses we'll possibly start to notice signs around 12-18 months. His kidney dilation is all cleared up, and he's gotten to all clear as far as that and the massive hernias he had removed back in July are all better also.

I think thats about it!

Heres a couple of recent pics

Good Job Mikey that is awesome that he is doing so well. At he isn't that far behind on weight and height because Hunter was only 17 lbs at 9 months and 26.5 inches long and she was full term!!! So that is awesome!!

He sure is a looker
