DH and I took Connor to Disneyland for the first time yesterday. I think I mentioned before that my sister gets us in for free because her husband works for ABC television which is owned by Disney. So, my sister can get herself and 3 other people in each day. DH took the day off to go to Connor's doctor appointment with me so we decided it would be a great day to take Connor to Disneyland.
Connor did great and didn't fuss at all. He loved some of the rides and others not so much. His favorites were Dumbo, Casey Jr train, and It's a small world. Overall we had a great day! Now that he's had his first trip, my sister and I will be taking him back quite often.

No real tips except have a stroller with a nice big basket. It's so nice to be able to put all your extra stuff in there without having to carry it all around. Also, we took a burp cloth with us on all the rides and stuff because the first ride we went on, Connor spit up while waiting in line and we had nothing to clean him up with. Overall the day went smoothly. He wasn't that into it yet. I think maybe when he gets to be a little older he'll be more into the rides and things like that.

I agree that it would probably be better when she is older to go, but our family has been planning this trip for like 2 years...so before she was even concieved...my mom and dad have a time share in Florida, and so, the accomidations are cheap, and everyone is going, my brother SIL neice sister and BIL are all going, oh ya, and my mom and dad...it's a huge family vacation.
Marci, totally didn't mean you should wait to go. I think Rayanne will have fun. There's lots to look at and even though she won't be as into the rides as when she's older I still think it will be a good trip. She'll probably even have fun people watching since there's always so much going on. I think Disneyland is fun for any age You guys will have a blast!

Oh my goodness! He's so adorable! I absolutely love the last one of all of you riding Dumbo! You've got some great family photos, especially the first one with the pumpkins too bad you can't send out Halloween cards!
Awww it looks like you all had fun. You're so lucky to get in for free! We're hoping to go to Disney World with our LO but it'll probably be in a few years.
So cool! It looks like you guys had TONS of fun! Great pics to remember it by too! I think next spring we are going to Sesame St Place. DD is in love with Elmo... it should be fun.
