My right ankle is BEYOND a cankle... like, seriously... i have the ankle of a 700 pound person and i am NOT exaggerating! My left one is okay but good lord is the right one bad. There is a roll forming over the top of my ankle/foot. Even the top of my foot is swollen, but only the right! Is that normal??? for just one to be swelling? Luckily i go to the doctor tomorrow so i can see what the doc says..... ugh this ankle makes me sick!

Retaining water comes to mind but I have no idea if this is normal.

Ill be interested to hear what the doc says Jess!! I have started to notice my ankles swelling now and then, but not that bad, and usually it is both. Although, I do remember that it started out as just one. My midwife told me its from being on my feet too much that day...oops!

Well that sucker got huge again today! altho not as bad as last night. So the doc said since my blood pressure is fine that i shouldn't worry. He asked if i eat too much salt... i don't know?! do it?! i'm going to start watching my salt intake tho. He was happy that i started elevating my foot at work. I put a box under my desk so i can keep my feet up while i work!!
