I'm just in awe of how it can be both flat and jelly like at the same time!! hahaa

I am certainly not what I would call "flat" but I am definitely surprised at how jelly like it is and how fast it has come down.

What I was not quite as prepared for is how swollen my legs got. I think it has a lot to do with the extra IV fluids I got after my section but man alive did my legs puff up. Thankfully they are going down quickly too.

I didn't shrink all that much...I'm still working on getting it off.

Shrink? When I left the hospital I still looked about 6 months pregnant!!! Took me a while. I definitely wasn't one of those "lucky" moms who walked out in their "skinny" jeans!!!!

I definitely think it depends on the person! When I got home from the hospital I was 2 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight and at my 3 week pp appt I was below it.

My doctor was surprised at how fast my uterus went back to the normal size. I was having a lot of cramping while nursing Billy though, but I guess that was helping!

i heard cramping and nursing will help a lot! I can't quite fit in my pre-preg jeans but hopefully it won't be long...michelle my legs are really swollen too. I got a lot of fluid but i heard after a c-sect its even worse.

It took me FOREVER to lose pp weight. As a matter of fact I weighed a little MORE leaving the hospital than I did going in.... I bawled my eyes out! My belly was just finally getting to where I was comfy and I got pg again LOL

I was really surprised at how fast it shrank down...are you wrapping your belly?? I wrapped the first 2 weeks for about 12 hours a day and that helped a ton...

yep!! wasnt the most comfortable, but got rid of the jelly, so I wore it anyway

haha, jelly is not so attractive. I'll be starting pilates/yoga this winter for toning when its cold once i get the OK from the Dr.

My PP belly is worse than my pre-preg!

I really gotta work on things!! Nikolas is a very needy boy - so it makes it hard. I think I'm going to try a Mommy and Baby class soon.

liss a friend of mine has had a hard time with PP belly issues. She has 2 kids now and people are still asking her if she's pregnant 7 months after her daughter was born. It is hard when you're busy! Mommy and me classes would be fun though! I am not allowed to do much for the first 6 weeks of course, but i'm hoping while its still nice we might get out for a walk every once in a while. I'm guessing we only have a couple of weeks of good weather left though.

I was all jelly and huge. I think the girls were 8 weeks old when someone asked me when I was due. Ugh! It took forever to get back into regular clothes. I dropped weight quickly, but my belly was super stretched out and it took a long time for that to go down.
