My big US is next wednesday soooooooooooooo I have been thinking about how to reveal the gender to my family and friends. I was thinking of having a get together and go out eat and reveal or have a cake with food color in it. I need more ideas than that.
What did you do after you found out???

My mom was with us, and my in-laws were both about to go to work. So DH just called his parents and told them. So nothing creative for us.

I ended up telling my mom as soon as I found out, but with dh's other family we bought a box of the pink gum cigars and passed them out at a joint birthday party for dh and his aunt.

I found out before the forth of July. I was having a party at our house for the forth and the whole family was coming over. I wore a shirt with this on it LOL so pretty much everyone found out as they arrived. It was cool to see everyone's reaction.

We didn't do anything special either...my family lives 3 hours away, and there is no way I would have been able to keep it a secrete. And DH's family knew we were going to find out...so it wasn't a surprise either way.

We went to the mall for an early look, so my dad and step mom came with us, then I texted my siblings. My husband called his parents and texted his siblings. Then I facebooked "it's a girl" nothing fancy.

We brought my parents to the u/s with us. It was awesome to have them there. It was DH's idea to ask them.
We didnt' do anything creative to tell everyone else. Everyone knew which day our u/s was and if we didn't contact them they contacted us.

We had two outfits we had bought. One said "My daddy's happy, Im a Boy!". After the U/S we texted a picture of that outfit to all our family and called the ones that dont have texting.
Originally my plan was to order M&Ms that said Its a boy in blue and another that said its a girl in pink. DHs family lives far away so we were going to send them seperately one made out to his dad (for the boy) and one made out to his mom (for the girl). Once we found out we would tell them which they could open. Sadly I didnt have time to do this but I thought it was a cute idea! Maybe next time!

We didn't. Other than you girls we haven't told anyone. If we're asked we just say that the baby is stubborn and we don't know.

My mom was with us. Everyone else got a text or a phone call or they saw it on FB.

We found out 15.5w. We had the us tech write it in an envelope and seal it. We took the card to a baby boutique and pick out 1 boy and 1 girl outfit. Gave our cc to the cashier lady and told her we want to purchase whatever outfit corresponds to the card. They rang it up and wrapped it up. We planned for everyone to come for supper that night- conferenced called my siblings who couldn't make and my mom- she had the flu- we opened the present with our family. So we all found out together. It was awesome but a hard wait having the gift and card and not knowing!
