but, my little munchkin made her entrance on Sunday 10-31. She was born by c-section. Saturday night my blood pressure went sky high and the borderline toxiemia I had been fighting for the last month won out. I went in the hospital with my BP running 196/100 and wouldn't go lower than 150/79. I tried induction but she was really high and wouldn't drop as well as I was not progressing. I got the pit started about 7:30am and @ 9:30am doc came in and checked me and I was like I'm done let's got for the section. I was in the OR less than an hour later. Here's a pic of us right after I got back to the room and she got in there.
Sorry if pic is large. I have since been back in the hospital but am recovering well now. I had low potassium, magnesium, and fluid on my lungs. Also I am so in
with my little girl. She's pretty special. We are having so problems with nursing and have been using formula, but I got an electric double pump yesterday and we are making progress on getting just mommy's milk. She get easily frustrated(just like mommy and daddy) and if she loses her latch while nursing she will not latch back.
Ohhh and as for stats she was 9lbs 12 ozs. 21in. She alsso had the cord around her neck twice. Doctor said I made right decision to go ahead with c-section for this reason.

Yay Amy!!!!! I'm so happy for you! I was wondering where you had been! Glad everything worked out and that you are now home with your little girl!!! Keep those pics coming!!
