We have a few more girls getting ready to have babies in the next few months. What are some of your favorite baby items. I know we've done this but let's do it again!!
Me, i love my boppy, its not necessary but i like it. I have recently started using my nursing cover which is awesome. I have found that i like my manual pump as much as the electric i bought...i have the medela harmony and the medela swing. I just find that i can pump as quickly with my manual...i know that's not the case for everyone but in a pinch its much quieter and still very efficient. OMG Lanisoh or lanolin for sore boobies has been amazing.
what else??

I second the boobs Tonya. I have a cluster feeding booby baby too. OMG (hence the need for massive amounts of booby cream!!)

we loved the swaddle me's...she had such a startle reflex that it was necessary for the first few months.
the swing was the best for us too...she took her best naps in it.
Now, its all her walker toys. She just loves to walk around the house when them (shes not walking on her own yet but it's so freaking cute seeing her push her teddy bear in her stroller haha).

omg lyz that reminds me, i bought the swaddle square blankets and they are the best blankets!! They're big, stretchy and cute. I think we'll use them well beyond their swaddling purposes. Tyler too likes to be swaddled. I got them on clearance at Target for 7.50 each and now i wish i had bought everything they had b/c they're normally $20something a piece. Still they're awesome!!

I agree about the lanolin if you are breastfeeding. That stuff saved my life. I love the boppy newborn lounger - it provided a comfy place for Avery to rest while I took showers or made dinner or whatnot. She has pretty much outgrown it which is sad because we both loved it so much!!
I'd also recommend a play gym. Avery wasn't interested at first, but then one day she fell in love with it! It's also another safe place to put the baby if you need a hands-free moment. We have the Baby Einstein Ocean one.

Baby Merlin's magic sleepsuit. When Josie was able to get out of her swaddle, it saved my sanity and my sleep for the most part.
Also the angel care monitor. I never need to go bug her at night because I can see she's breathing on the monitor.

The nap nanny - it was the only thing other than our lap that Julie would sit in from about 2 months to 4 months!
Still use our boppy too and the jumperoo is one of her favorites now.

boobies! still working their magic 15 months later too
for us its a standing activity table. Bella LOVES it, one of the only things she consistently plays with if its out, other toys get forgotten after a couple of days until I change them but the activity table always gets played with, same with our own made treasure basket wiith natural items in it.

Boobies here as well, LOL! Also her Papasan swing was a huge life saver, she napped so well in it. Unfortunately we have to retire it now since Marina tries to crawl out of it The Woombie was a great swaddle blanket as well. Also, she still loves her jumperoo. The walker is a lifesaver if I need to do anything in the kitchen.

My carriers, both the Moby and Ergo. I don't know how I would have survived the first few months without my Moby. Walking laps aroudn the house with both kids in it was often the only way I could get both colicky babies to calm down.

For me it was the boppy pillow and his woombie. I swore by those for the first 4 months. Loved them both! The woombie was the only thing that calmed him some nights. He loved being swadled so much I never thought I would break him of it.

I loved her bouncy seat and the boppy. Both of those still get used at 7 months. After 3 months she loved her swing and bumbo so those get used alot too. She really only uses the swing for daytime naps now (unless I'm home, then she naps with mommy because as DH puts it, mommy has the "magic boobs"!) I also love the arm and hammer diaper pail! No stink ever. I think that is a must have. Its nice to keep all the smelly diapers contained in one area.
