How many of you had spotting in early pregnancy? Of course I'm panicking even though all the information out there says not to... last night it was small enough I wasn't sure if the TP was brown or if my urine was just really concentrated. This morning, the TP was a very faint brown, and very little, but it was there. Everything I read says if it's brown, light, no clots, not to worry it doesn't mean anything, but I want to hear it from real life people!

So, any experience or knowledge you can share is appreciated!

First of all, try not to panic!! yea right easier said than done. Anyway, brown is old blood so don't even worry about it! As for spotting, girl i had full blown BLEEDING at 6 weeks, and it lasted about a week. There was no clotting, but it was like a real AF there was so much blood! But it turned out to be nothing! And here i am at 30 weeks pg! Tons of girls here have had spotting and i'm sure they'll all tell you the same thing, it's normal!! And what you read is right, no bright red, no clotting, no problem!

I spotted brown when I was 10 weeks for a couple days, I was devastated and assumed it meant the worse...however, I had an u/s and all was still well. I posted on here about the spotting and tons of the ladies said the same thing happened to them. I know it's hard...if it keeps up can you go for an ultrasound to ease your mind?

Thinking of you!

Spotting is definitely tough Tammy...it worries everyone!! Because it is brown, it's old blood...probably just from implantation. There are lots of people that even have had red spotting, and everything is ok...if you are really worried, I would suggest going to the ER, because I think worrying is worse, and they can tell you that everything is ok.

When I went in to get checked after the bleeding I had at 12 weeks the nurse practitioner told me not to worry about brown spotting at all. But I think for people like us who took so long to get to this point it is impossible not to worry. Most likely you are just seeing older implantation bleeding and everything is fine. You can always call your OB just to get some reassurance or head into the ER to get checked out. Are they going to do an early ultrasound for you?

I am sure you are fine...I always told myself that if I wasn't gushing blood and doubled over in pain with cramps, I was fine.

Try not to worry. Spotting is normal. I met a lady last week who didn't even know she was pg until she was 7 months along. She said that she never gained weight and had a period every month! Hang in there, your u/s is coming up soon.

Like everyone else said it's totally normal but if you are feeling uncomfortable call your doctor maybe they can have you come in for a check.

Thanks ladies! It didn't get any better or worse it just stayed the same which I think is a good sign. No real pains, but I do have cramps on my right side. My 3rd blood test is in 2 days so I'm going to wait to see what the numbers show, and if it gets any worse I will definitely make a phone call!

Are you still getting positive pg tests? If so then I think you would be fine. Like the others have said it's normal for spotting and perfectly normal for you to freak out. I would too! I have always been told that spotting is fine unless is accompanied by cramps. KUP!!!

My tests are still + and darker than when I tested 2 days ago so I'm taking that as a great sign!

Liss... ug, so frustrating! I think if I was new to ttc it might not be so bad ya know?? Problem is, I know too darn much about the things that could go wrong
