I had another ultrasound today. This one was not really fun for me. I was so tired because I didn't sleep well last night. I even got dizzy on the table - that's a first for me. Plus the baby is getting so squished in there it's really hard to see anything!
But, the baby is still growing at the same rate as before. They guesstimate that he is about 2.4 kg now (that's just over 5 lbs). He's still in the 10th percentile for size, but that's okay. I figure that with another 3 - 4 weeks until delivery, he could be about 7 pounds at birth - I weighed 7 lbs at birth and I was a week late. That's very normal by my standards.
Even so, they want me to come back weekly for more monitoring. Sigh.

Well I am glad he is still growing! I would definitely be concerned if he was not. Hopefully he comes out nice and chunky. And even if he is smaller I know plenty of my friends had tiny babies and they ate like horses when they came out.

My doctor and the delivery doctor all said Julie was going to be big.....she was a whopping 6lb 13oz. Shocking to all. I'm sure he is fine. Hope your follow-ups only get better.

Tyler weighed an estimated 4lb 10oz at 37 weeks...so your little guy is gonna be okay. He was born over a pound bigger less than 2 weeks later. Glad he's staying put for now.

If hes on the percentile charts anywhere at all, thats considered normal. Some babies have to be the small ones, otherwise can you imagine if all babies were the same size? Bella was 10 days late and only 6lb7oz. Unless theres a medical reason why he isnt growing which he sounds like he is) the longer he bakes the better i reckon! how frustrating about the monitoring though.

I'm glad he's staying put for now...and I'm glad that he is growing. I'm sure it's frustrating and tiring constantly going in for appointments and monitoring, but I'm glad the doctors are taking good care of you and your little guy.

I am sure he will be nice a big come delivery!! I was 5lbs 14oz. my sister was 5lbs13oz. and my youngest sister was 5lbs8oz (but she was 6 weeks early) and we were all healthy little ones and never had any problems! We all went home right away. I totally know what you mean about the monitoring though...starting at 35 or 36 weeks I will be going in twice a week for NSTs and ultrasounds...oh man! haha
