We got back from our vacation late Sunday night and yesterday was crazy busy so I havent been able to get on. Anyways yesterday I had my 3 hour test, an ultrasound, and a regular prenatal appointment all with lots going on so this could get long! haha
First I had my 3 hour test, it went well and I felt great through the entire thing. I passed which made me happy!! Only bad thing is I felt like total crap last night and still today and I am pretty sure thats what it is from...so no work for me today!
Then I went for my ultrasound. It was quick and simple, but I was ticked. I got zero pictures, and barely got to see my little man. And not to mention they wouldnt tell me a single thing! The only thing they did do was confirm that he is still a boy!
Finally, I went for my regular prenatal appointment. I had protein, blood, and leukocytes in my urine. I have always had leukocytes in my urine so that is no surprise, but the rest was all new. Also, my bp was 148/76 so my top number is high. Oh and I gained 4-5 pounds in two weeks...granted it was Thanksgiving and I was on the high carb diet but wow. I havent gained any weight all pregnancy! So then I sat there waiting for my midwife. She had a last minute complication with a delivery that pushed her behind. So an hour later she came in. We checked on Mason and his heart rate was strong. I am still measuring a week ahead, but they arent changing my due date so its still Feb. 7th. Then we went over the Ultrasound results. Mason's kidneys are still showing as slightly dilated, but his bladder and my amniotic fluid are normal. So basically she isnt concerned. She is going to talk to a couple peds and a neonatologist just to see if they think anything needs to be done, but for now we arent doing anything. She said starting at 35-36 weeks I will start going in twice a week for an NST and ultrasound to check my fluid levels just to make sure he is doing ok and his kidneys arent causing him any problems. Once he is born he might get an ultrasound to check the kidneys also. So, that was ok. Then she goes well we will see you in two weeks...I was like wait what about my urine sample. She basically said they would send it to the lab for further testing, but it could be nothing, it could be a UTI, or it could be the start of pre-e or HELLPS syndrome, but not to worry right now. I am supposed to watch for symptoms like light headedness, swelling, dizzyness, or nausea. She told me to be prepared to deliver around 36 weeks. She said with everything going on and him measuring ahead there is a good chance that I could go early, or that they could induce around that time. I am still shocked that she didnt really care about the urine sample, but wow...36 weeks is only 6 weeks away!! OMG!
Anyways, thanks for reading my novel! haha I have missed you all and cant wait to get caught up!
