Ok...so this is my question...

We are leaving for Florida in 26 sleeps and the only thing I am worried about is the day we are at Disney. The reason I am worried is because usually we would eat lunch at the park, but pack a picnic lunch that we ate in the car. Well today, as Rayanne was eating her cereal and baby food it hit me. How in the world would I heat up baby food at Disney world?

I'm also wondering about little snacks...she has baby mum mum's, and eats them some times, other times she plays with them...lol...but when can you give babies cheerio's and those puff things?

I am so excited to be leaving soon...I have to go to the dollar store and pick up a couple of new toys for her to occupy her on the plane too!!

Well I can answer this for you, even though I don't have a little one. I've been to Disney a number of times with and without little ones so I've learned a lot and my cousin used to work at Disney World so she's provided a lot of information as well.

Each park that you visit has baby care centers. It's places that you can go to nurse, change diapers, feed babies and buy any essentials that you may have forgotten or lost. You can also warm bottles, etc. there so just make sure to locate the nearest center so that you can find it easily when you are in need of it.

As far as her snacks go, bring them with you to the parks and let her munch them whenever she's wanting them. Disney does NOT care if Rayanne or any other baby spreads puffs from one end of the park to another, just as long as she's enjoying herself. She can eat them as you walk from attraction to attraction, while you wait in line or are watching a show or when you are standing there waiting for the parade to start. You can also bring along bottled water and snacks for yourselves as well, just don't bring in a whole picnic lunch.

This link will show you pictures of what one of the baby care centers looks like and as you can see, it's pretty much a full service baby area. Baby Care Facilities (in the parks)

As far as flying goes, I don't know if you know this or not but I saw someone else mention it here, just make sure to nurse her or give her a bottle (can't remember which she takes) during take off to help minimize her ears popping. Anything else about flying with a baby will have to be told to you by others. LOL

Yall have a great time when you go! I love Disney, it's AWESOME!!!

Good luck Marci. I've been quartering a puff and letting Julie eat them and she takes them well.

This is just me....I've never traveled far enough with Julie....but we use to go to Disney growing up and I have 2 younger siblings and I can tell you that WE never used any family facilities. They probably weren't even available then. Anyways, what about taking things that she could eat at room temperature (jar food/applesauce/formula) into the park - that way you could just feed her where ever.

Good luck and have fun

All the ladies have given you great advice We took Hunter to Cuba at 10 months and then we flew from Calgary to Ottawa for Christmas and the plane is not that bad just make sure they are sucking on something going up and down other than that Hunter just slept in the plane I think it has to do with the hum of the engines!!! Good luck and have soooooooo much fun!!!!!!

Those Baby Care Centres are great! I wish more public places had them.

Have a great trip Marci! Nathan and I are flying to Kelowna in March so I can show him off to the rest of my family.
