My mother did!!

So as most of you prolly remember I was having problems with mom and how to deal with her smoking while keeping my baby boy safe! She didnt seem the least bit interested in quitting and I didnt expect her to since she hadnt in 30 years! Well, we were not speaking last week because she was upset with me for not wanting to go to her house for New Years Eve cause of the smoking and me having a cold and being 8 months preggo.
Well I went to my sisters' basketball game on Friday and my sister told me while I was there that mom quit!! She quit New Years Day and hasnt had a single cigarette yet! She was very nice to me at the girls game and I think we are good now, but I just wish she would have told me! I am so happy for her and so proud of her for trying, even if she does slip up here and there! What a huge step!! And she is on day 10 today and going strong!! I just hope she can keep it going!
Just thought I would share that!
