Friends of ours have a little one who is 2 months younger than Connor. We have been talking about a vacation in March (Connor will be 5 months and Brayden will be 3 months) but I would like some suggestions on where to go.

My friend likes the idea of all inclusive because there is no hastle (and free alcohol). But the only real things we want in a vacation are warm weather and safe (water, sand, etc more so than in a criminal sense).

Our options (in my opinion) are
1. All inclusive in the Carribean (we have been to mexico, dominican republic, bahamas)
2. Rental property (condo/house, etc) in the southern US

So where would you go and what suggestions do you have for travelling with infants.

We took Hunter to Cuba when she was 10 months and it was wonderful. People are all very nice and she was just crawling so it was a little easier. We saw plenty of people with babies even younger than she was I would say all-inclusive just because you want to relax and that way you don't have to cook or clean

I've done both and they can both be good. You have to determine if you still want to have the responsibility for cooking your meals (which can be a plus or a pain). An all inclusive may have more baby things for you (cribs, etc) so you will have to pack less.

Either way, have a great holiday!

PS - Cuba is a great place to go if you haven't been.

We have also done both, but obviously never with a baby.

My all time favorite was renting a condo in Hawaii. We rented the condo spent alot of time at the beach. They also had an awesome aquarium and pineapple plantation that had lots of babies at them. And the luaua we went to had lots of people with babies as well and it was a buffet and open bar type show! But at the same time we did have to cook for ourselves if we didnt want to go out to eat, and we did clean up a little before we left, but mainly just any mess we made.

Just an idea.
