Here's an update on my cerclage removal. I was 1cm dilated last week right after the doc took the stitches out. Well, today I went in hoping I would have some dilation progress going on...

The good news is, the baby seems to have moved even lower, and I'm 90% effaced, so there's barely any cervix left. Unfortunately, the cerclage left a scar which prevents me from dilating, and i'm still at 1cm. But the doc said it should break eventually and I'll either start having contractions or my water will break... but when that will happen, nobody can predict.

So sorry about the disappointing appointment. FWIW I was barely over a cm up until I went into labor, so you can still go at any time. Hope fighter bean makes his appearance soon! The last few weeks are the worst!

i was a loose 1. baby is still bakin', which is good!

I have scarring on my cervix and i had a normal birth, so hopefully it won't mean anything once things start happening
