Hey ladies!
First off thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers! When we went in yesterday for Mason's newborn checkup we knew he was jaundiced, but didnt think it was too bad. Well after getting our labs back it was at a 18.4. They decided to let us stay at home for the night though and change to feeding all formula every 2 hours. We took him back in today and his levels have dropped to 16.9 so things are looking to be ok. We still are feeding all formula now though, but I am ok with that to keep him healthy. He also went from weighing 6lbs6oz. yesterday to 6lbs.10oz. today! We go back Monday again just to make sure its all coming down, but things are looking good.
Other than that we are doing well. I will try and post my birth story later this week for everyone to read! It was quite the time, but I would do it again in a heartbeat to have an angel like this again! Only other issue is that Mason failed his hearing tests in both ears. Just barely, but we have to retest in 2-3 weeks. The nurse said she had a really hard time getting them in because his ears are so small and she thinks he may have had fluid in them so she said not to worry he will almost for sure pass in a couple weeks!

Arya failed her first hearing tests. It's pretty common.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Oh Alicia he is beautiful!!!! You know, i really think him and mackenzie would be very cute together!  anyway, mack failed her first hearing test too so i wouldn't worry too much. She passed when she was about 2 1/2 weeks old! He'll be fine! Enjoy your little bundle of joy!

Thanks ladies...just looking at him today you can tell he is doing better!
He is spitting up the formula some though, so I am watching that over the weekend and will talk to the ped about it Monday. He has a checkup again Monday at 9:30. He is obviously getting enough since he gained 4 oz. in one day, but I just want to check (I am a worrier).
And Jess I totally agree! Him and Mackenzie would be so cute together! haha

What a cutie! Congrats! I'm gload his levels are going down as well. Connor had the same issues and was fine after a few days. Just keep on feeding, feeding, feeding!
