Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Deb! I am so happy for you and Logan. My aunt had my cousin early and he also had sugar issues but they resolved within a week and he went home. He is now a straight A student and she said she barely remembers that time. I am sure he will be home very soon and it won't even be a second thought.

Thanks, ladies! I'm home now. Got up to pump, and now I can't fall back asleep. Apparently my body doesn't know that there is one advantage to having him in the NICU - SLEEP!
When we called tonight, he had eaten 25 ml at his last feeding, and his sugar had gone back up a bit - it had dropped after his previous feeding since he spit most of it up. They dropped his drip to 2ml/hr. If he continues to have success, they'll get rid of the IV sometime this morning.
He has also been on an antibiotic because they were concerned he had an infection since I was GBS positive. His cultures come back in the morning, so I'm super hopeful that they'll be negative and they'll be able to stop the meds.
Then all we need is for him to start eating more independently. He's a bigger preemie at 6 pounds, but still showing his 36 weeks status by being too sleepy to eat! He just can't quite figure out the whole sucking and swallowing at the same time.
He's being well taken care of at the NICU though - and I'm hopeful that he'll be home by Friday as long as his cultures come back okay.

 I hope he gets back into your room very soon!! I hated it when they took my Gracie out of my room after having her with me for 2 whole days...and she just had to be under the billi lights for a couple days which really isn't a big deal at all.
You are in my thoughts and prayers...just keep in mind that you'll be home with your sweet little one in no time...and time flies after that
