Around 5pm tonight I have an appt with my doc, and he said if I'm still pregnant by then he'll be getting things started. He said he'll be inserting a pill right there in the office, and then I can go home and it should take a few hours for something to happen. I'm not sure about the details, so I'll be asking him everything tonight.
Didn't think it would get to this point, but here I am... with my cerclage removed 3 weeks ago and a full moon tonight, and everything, I'm still here. I REALLY didn't want to induce and I'm REALLY scared of a C-sect, so please send me good labor vibes ladies! I'll update as things progress.

5:30pm the tablet to soften the cervix is in, has 50/50 chance of working. If it doesn't work today, I go in tomorrow for a repeat. I hope something happens tonight

3:30am I'm pretty sure I'm finally having contractions, and they seem timeable - every 4-5 minutes, lasting about a minute. I can't sleep, but can't understand if it's because they're too painful or I'm just too excited... definitely lots of discomfort, pain/pressure in my back and sides. I just had a 3 am cereal snack and gonna try to see if I can go back to sleep.

Well, I somehow fell asleep towards the morning, and my contractions faded! Ugh. So I went in for a second dose of that pill this afternoon. So far I have on and off contractions, sometimes 7-8 mins apart, sometimes random... Just waiting now. Worst case, I got induction scheduled on 2/22.
