I'm not Catholic or anything (DH was growing up) but we have decided to give up fast food for Lent. I've been trying to be healthier by exercising and eating better anyway so hopefully this "challenge" will give me just an extra push in the right direction. Just curious, is anyone else giving anything up for Lent?

a friend of mine is taking something on: cooking something new each night. I thought that was cool, but not totally realistic for me. I'm going to do my best to try new dishes...plus we're couponing which is an adventure in itself. IDK how much that helps but its what i'm thinking!

I gave up curse words I have a mouth like a sailor and need to curb it because Bella is starting to repeat me!

So yesterday was my first day and although I wasn't completely swear-free, I did really well!

I'm giving up cursing too! I figured it would be good practice. I usually give up something food-related but since I'm still preggo I didn't want to do that this year.
