Until this week I've been MIA from JustMommies since around August last year. I thought about all of you often, but I just really needed a break. I found I got myself way too worked up in everything TTC and I really had to stop making it such a focus for me.

It was confirmed with a digital Wednesday morning! I'm soo excited! I was practically hyperventilating when I saw it.. I'm still in a state of disbelief!
I saw my family doctor today.. which was fairly uneventful. He didn't even want to confirm my HPT with a blood test or anything.
He just gave me the typical speech about how often women can miscarry in their first trimester and that I should be taking prenatals (which I am) and that otherwise all is well and he doesn't need to see me until 12 weeks.. which for him, he'll be on vacation so I don't get to see him until the first week of May. SIGH. THEN he'll do the full check-up and blood work and schedule my ultrasound.
That was a bit disappointing because I've heard of others who can get their first ultrasound as early as 7 or 8 weeks.. and that you can even start hearing the heartbeat by then sometimes.. but I guess it can't be helped.
So I'm hoping for a sticky bean and to stay in the Grads board! For now my EDD is Nov 7.
I want to send out a belated congratulations to everyone who has gotten their BFPs and had their first babies!! I've been looking around here and it seems I've missed a lot of good news!
