I think AF is finally showing her face after being gone for so long! Just some spotting and brown discharge at this point (sorry if TMI!!)

Including my 9 months of pregnancy with Mari, I have not had AF in over 2 years and 3 months!! But, I also have PCOS, so I really wasn't sure when/if AF would return! So hard to believe its been that long!

Mari is 17 months old and I have started dropping our early morning nursing session, so now she nurses mostly at nights and weekends...my guess is that's why AF is showing her face again! Even though we are preventing at this time, I am kind of excited to see AF again and know that my body has finally started producing enough estrogen in order for AF to reappear.

That's great! I felt the same way. We aren't trying right now but its nice to know things are starting to get back on track. I made is just over 2 years with no AF and have had one AF so far but she hasn't come back again yet this month.

Congrats! I went 2 years and and 2 months without an AFs. It's awesome to not have AF when you aren't ttc. My first cycle after AF was long, my second was a little shorter. I'm only on my third, but can tell my hormones seem a little more normal now.

Now I'm a little confused since I thought there was the beginnings of something yesterday, but nothing all last night or this morning yet...so maybe it's a false start or just my body doing a test run??

It must be that time around here. Mine showed up today, and Tyler is only 5.5 months old, but honestly my feelings aren't hurt. I'm glad she decided to return. He has stopped nursing at night for the most part and has been on solids for 2 months so I knew it was just a matter of time.

Hooray for your body getting back on track
Weird that at a certain point, even AF is exciting...
I ended up Oing at almost exactly 1 year after Kaiden was born, but I'd already at that point cut down to 2 feeds/day...now we are at only 1 night feed /day

That was pretty awesome that you were able to avoid postpartum AF altogether!!!

I wish my cycles would become regular, but I have no idea what to expect since I had the Implanon placed back in December and the NP warned me that the effects are very unpredictable, so my one day of "not much of anything" could become my new norm. We'll have to see in the next few weeks if AF decides to show up again!
