have any of you gone through this?

the girls said i should ask you guys about this. ok, me and DH have been ttc #1 for a year and a half. i was put on clomid days 5-9 of my cycle 2 rounds nothing. I had my period on March 7th and again April 7th. it was normal i had light spotting the 1st day the 2nd and 3rd day was heavy and cramping. so i took my clomid 5-9 but i never stopped spotting this past Saturday there was a bit more blood again same on Sunday but i had cramps too. Monday (the normal day i start testing with my opk) i got a smiley on my opk and i knew it was to early for that and since i was still bleeding lightly i called my Dr. they had me come in and did i urine preg test and it came back positive!! she did an exam and said i wasn't' bleeding that much and my cervix is closed. She orderd blood work that i have to take 3 times this week to make sure my levels are going up and she did an ultrasound yesterday but they didn't see any thing. I have to go in on Monday after all my blood work is done to get the results and see what she says. I'm so confused I'm happy but I'm keeping it in my head that it might also not be a good out come.

I was just wondering if any of you have gone through this and what happened. THanks ladies!

Just a thought because I had it but you may have had a blood clot form in your uterus that made it's way out. I had one during my pregnancy that formed when the blast burrowed into my uterine lining...the u/s tech told me that was typically a reason for bleeding in early pregnancy.

The only thing I'm not sure about it your timeline....I wonder if April 7th was not a period at all. Were you monitoring at all during the times you took clomid? Could you have conceived a twin or triplets and then miscarried one or two of them which caused the bleeding? Just seems that you would have had to ovulate aweful early if you already got a + preggo test from your april period (it would be 15 days today from April 7 to 21). Personally and this is just me, I'd be more willing to believe you conceived in March and the bleeding that occurred in a April was due to something else and the timing was just a coincidence.

I had a lot of bleeding when I was pg with Marina, so much I thought I was having a m/c. Some people just bleed unfortunately. Hope your little bean sticks!

Thanks ladies for the info. but i got bad news. my blood level monday was 140 and yesterdays was down to 74 today i'm starting to have lower back pain (like i get before my period and i think i have slight cramps) i'm going to see my dr tomorrow instead of monday. I'll let you know what he says. i know what this all means though :-(
