When did you tell your employer that you were pregnant?

I told mine when i was 14 weeks. I was sure they all already knew (I was already showing quite a bit) but no one knew. I could have waited quite a while longer probably.

I am close to my boss so I told her right away!

But if I weren't I would probably wait until after my first u/s.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I want to tell everybody because I'm so excited but I've only been at my NEW job for 1 week!! I found out I was pregnant after the interview and after they hired me!! I feel bad for not telling them but then I'm going to wait until after the 1st trimester than maybe it won't look so bad?

After my MIL told the world! I was worried that it would end up on FB. I think this was around 12 weeks. I wanted to wait until at least 15 weeks.

I told my boss at 8 weeks because we were in a weird place at my job and I was afraid I was going to get laid off so I told her so she couldn't

I would wait until after your first trimester, this way you get to know everyone really well there and it'll be an even bigger suprise and celebration!

I told one of my bosses immediately but didn't tell anyone else until i was like 11-12ish weeks.

I kept mines a secret til the end of the 1st trimester. I had just started a new job and found out a week later i was pregnant. lol I didn't want them to get rid of me after my probation period so i waited to say anything. Espically with the economy the way it is. I also didn't start showing either til 5 months, lol.

I told mine right away - I was 4 weeks and someodd days. I had to tell them because I often have to take ventilator patients for CT scans and go to the cath lab. I'm exposed to radiation in those situations so they had to know I couldn't go anymore.

I started my job in Jan and got pregnant in Feb so I felt really awkward telling them!

I told mine immediately. With Marina I told my boss at 5 weeks because I had bleeding and my ob wanted me to go to the ER. This time I told both of my bosses early in case anything were to happen again and because as a nurse I have to lift very heavy patients and this way people have to help me
