Went to my weekly check up & my Blood Pressure was high again this week. This time i also had protein in my urine. He re-checked my blood pressure twice like last week but this time I wasn't lower at the end of the visit so he sent me to l + d :/ He also said he didn't want me going much longer being pregnant due to the consistency in the spike of things. He said it has a way of creeping up. So he scheduled me to be induced at 7:30am monday. I'll be 39wks that day. I'm 1cm & 40% effaced. Anyways once i got to the hospital after the doc's visit to get monitored for about 2hrs and my BP was a lot lower there & urine was fine so hospital sent me home. I'm just so nervous about being induced.... I wanted to have a drug free birth. I hope she comes on her own this weekend!

I was really nervous about being induced too. I was scared that I would need a c-section. But really it wasn't all bad. You're already starting to dilate so your body is ready. For me I wasn't dilated at all and the induction took 2 days. I had the cervidil, then the foley balloon, and then the oxytocin drip. All of that to get to 2cm! Once they broke my water things finally got going.
I hope that everything goes smoothly for you so you can have a drug free birth! Is someone updating for you?

I was actually NOT nervous about the induction at all, mostly because of all of the drama i had at the end with him...i just wanted him out safely! It will be just fine Tashia, don't worry! We can't wait to meet her!

Congrats on carrying your LO all the way to term, that is wonderful, and I know that you have had it rough...
You can definitely still do a natural delivery even if you are induced, but honestly, dont get too down on yourself if you cant...the ONLY thing that really matters in the long run is that your baby gets out safely...cant wait to meet her!
