My HCG came back at only 30, which my doc doesn't consider viable (they want to see 50), but they said is consistent with how early I am. The nurse pretty much said they hate it when people test so early. Anyway, I have to go for another on Wednesday, and I will be nervous until I get a good number back then.

First congratulations! Second, that first number in no way means its not viable. My numbers never doubled correctly and plus I was spotting so the doctors kept saying I was going to miscarry. My numbers stayed low for a long time and I'll never get mine tested again since all it did was cause more stress. I hope your numbers go up though and this is a viable pregnancy. The main thing to remember is if they are going up then stay positive. Plus they have no idea when you implanted.

After stressing out all dang day waiting for the doc's office to call, I finally got my second beta. It's 81, first was 30, so that gives me a doubling time of 33.5 hours! Apparently, they want me to keep getting tested every 2 days until the number is high enough that the pregnancy is viable, whatever that means. So far, so good though!

So glad your numbers look good...frankly, what they are saying is bunk and does nothing but stress people out for no good reason...it doesnt matter when the baby implants and what your inital HCG number is (with the three times I have been pregnant, I had 41 at 11DPO, 19 at 10DPO, and 29 at 10DPO, what matters is doubling time (and as Dani is proof of, even that isnt an end all be all)...

my first draw was 32 and my second was 103. Sounds like you have great numbers, you just got a positive test early (as did I).
congrats!!! Keep us posted on your upcoming draws!!

Intro - I'm a new grad!*Updated with 2nd Beta*
!! Just last week, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was supposed to start metformin. We are still waiting on DH's SA results
I am only 11 dpo today, so it's really way too early to be joining here, but I've been waiting so long! I had an HCG draw done this morning and am hoping to get results yet today. Here are some pics of my tests. Any and all sticky dust is much appreciated!
