It's a beautiful summer day, and my flowers are blooming, so today's Friday Five topic is flowers!

1. What is your favorite type of flower?
2. Do you buy or send other people flowers for special occasions?
3. Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers, if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else?
4. If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to talk with?
5. Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten an edible flower one?

1. What is your favorite type of flower? Orange tiger lilies--WITH the black spots!
2. Do you buy or send other people flowers for special occasions? Sometimes. Mostly I will get my mom flowers for different occasions.
3. Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers, if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else? No garden here but we do have day lilies growing in the back yard. DH has picked them and put them in vases to me before, but we haven't given them to anyone else.
4. If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to talk with? Hmm...maybe a carnation. They seem to be an "everybody" flower
5. Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten an edible flower one? I've never used them in cooking nor have I eaten one, buy DH ate one once. He was not a fan

1. What is your favorite type of flower? Tulips! I just adore them! And I also have a liking for lilys

2. Do you buy or send flowers to people for special occasions? Yes, usually like mothers day for ours moms and sometimes ill buy DH flowers usually because he hasent gotten me any in a while lol

3. Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else? Yes, when I was younger I would pick wild flowers for my mom

4. If flowers could talk ( think alice in wonderland) which flower would you most like to talk with? I would say a rose, I think they would have a beautiful and intelligent conversation lol

5. Have you ever used edible flowers for cooking or ate and ediable flower one? Not for cooking but I did eat one of the ediable flowers from DH and I wedding cake lol
