4 years of french in high school and 2 in college and no, I cannot speak a foreign language I think if I had gone to France it would have been a completely different learning experience being "forced" to speak it.

I do still want to learn Italian though, and REALLY want to go to Italy!!

Ditto Dani, only with Spanish. I can understand it pretty well, but I don't speak it so great.

I also took two years of Swahili in college, but I probably only remember a dozen words. It was a fun class though.

I can understand most Spanish, especially from someone who natively speaks English and is speaking Spanish! lol I can't speak it fluently, just enough to ask for things and normal niceties.

I can't speak one but half my family speaks spanish (I'm half mexican/spanish) so I would love to learn spanish finally! I can understand it for the most part but its another story on the speaking part lol
