...when you're in the TWW!!!

I am either 4 or 5 dpo (I miss a few temps, so it's hard to say) and consider it huge that I haven't yet POAS This time last cycle, I had started POAS at 4dpo I'm going to hold out until at least 8dpo...but who knows...honestly, if I have ZERO symptoms like last time...I don't think I will bother until AF is closer...

What does everyone do to keep busy during the TWW? Do you like to keep your mind OFF of all things baby or do you think you're more obssessed, like looking at baby names, gear, etc. ?

I was obsessed with POAS and baby things during the TWW. It's torture!! Hopefully it'll only be a few more days before you know!!

Any updates???

We just had another chemical pregnancy after IVF#4 so we are going back to TTC#2 naturally for a bit and just hoping. There is no way we can afford/find the time for another IVF until at least spring time, but probably even later. So you may find me around here even more!

As for me, nothing exciting to report unfortunately. This has been an extremely odd cycle though since I got a positive OPK around CD 17 (early for me, but I was on 100mg Clomid). According to FF and my temp, I probably didn't ovulate until CD 19, though I never did get crosshairs since I did miss a few days of temps. But then on Countdown to Pregnancy (when I put in all the same data), it showed possible ovulation on CD 22 because of temp jump. So now i don't know if I am 12dpo or 9dpo...or both?

Reason being because I was sick around the time when I thought I should've ovulated (CD 17-CD19), so I know that can sometimes push back ovulation for a few days, so then CD 22 ovulation might make sense? OR and this is a big OR, I had two eggs and ovulated twice in once cycle??? The first scenario seems more likely, that maybe it just got delayed a few days. I hardly have any symptoms, my BBs were tender for a little bit but that seems to have disappeared and the last few days I've been battling a head cold/flu thing, so who really knows what's what?? If I did ovulate on CD 22, we really didn't time BDing very well (since I thought I'd already ovulated)...so it seems unlikely I would be pregnant

Guess I'll know either way shortly, my LP is usually about 14 days, so i suspect AF will be here shortly if it's based on the CD 19 ovulation. Sounds terrible, but I already called my doctor about a birth control script since this was our last cycle trying before we have to wait until summer/next fall. I'm disappointed, but in some ways, ready to move on and just focus on the rest of this semester and school year.

Well, AF showed up in full force yesterday, so I am definitely out for this cycle.

I am a bit disappointed as we will stop TTCing until next summer/fall, but I knew that TTC in two cycles with PCOS was a long shot anyways. The good news is that the 100mg of Clomid did work nicely in terms of getting me to ovulate earlier and thus shortening my cycle to 31 days, so this is good info for the future.

I won't be posting much, but I will be lurking! Thanks for all your support and encouragement!
