Hey girls, just wondering if your scan dates are/were different to your cycle dates? i prob ask the same question in my ddc, but i have my 2nd scan this week which will hopefully clear it up! i wouldn't be too concerned but its only caus baby could be due right on xmas and its nice to know (or at least an estimate) of these things!. the dates i have up now are pretty much a "least" hopefully the scan adds a few more days on there.

I'll be going by the scan date, its also the most accurate in terms of dating the age of the baby (well the early scans are anyway). LOL a GP confirmed my pg the other night and told me that I was 8 weeks along because of my cycle dates ... ummm not possible. So yeah, anyway you get my drift LOL

I'm going by my cycle dates (due date calculated from ovulation) no matter what. I know when I ovulated, within two or three days, so if some doctor tells me the baby's measuring a week or so off (early on) that doesn't mean I'm wrong. That means there's more of a chance of something going wrong as far as the baby's concerned because I know where it should be.

If all I had was an LMP of course I would go by scan dates but since I know for sure, the scan date they give me is more useful as a tool to gauge whether the baby's on track than as something to tell me when I'm due.

My scan date is one day ahead of my lmp date. Considering that both ultrasounds I've had have said the exact same due date, and it's one day closer , I'm using that.
