Apparently they're going good, I'm just going by the info the nurses are giving me over the phone. I haven't been up for a week now (been sick) and DH hasn't been up for a few days longer than that. Kadee has graduated to CPAP and seems to be doing very well on it, she is almost back down to breathing air. She was apparently having a lot of apnea and brady episodes the other night and they decided that it was because her tummy was so large so they've taken the fortifier out of her milk and gave her an enema (I honestly didn't know they did that to babies!), she passed a lot of wind and has been quite happy and good with her stats since.
Samara is going good, they started weaning her off CPAP about 4-5 days ago, she doesn't really seem to like it that much but she's only on 22% oxygen with the new pressure so she's obviously not too bad. The girls seem to be hanging around the same weight, bit of a catch 22 situation, they want them to put on weight but they're not really liking the fortifier so I guess they'll be looking at adding formula or something else in soon.
They'll be in hospital for at least another couple of months, possibly longer depending on how they go with putting on weight and whatever other complications pop up.

Glad to hear the girls are hanging in there I'm sure this is a very emotional and stressful time for you...my best friend had her baby at 32 weeks and he was in the hospital for a month....I saw the frustration in her eyes....I knew how badly she wanted him home, and I'm sure you feel the same about your girls....I hope they get to come home soon....hopefully before Christmas I think about you and the girls all the time and I continue to pray that things go well for you...thanks for keeping us posted on their progress....
wow, a few more months.. that must be hard on you, but i guess its the best start to their lives as they came so early. It sounds like the staff really know what they are doing, and caring for them. I hope you get better soon !! Will be thinking of your little ones. I know you'll look back in a few years with them running and playing!!
