We're going to go check out the base and marc called housing so we can actually tour a vacant house and see if it's going to be big enough. I'm really hoping it will work, I'm hesitant to rent a house from someone for the next 4 years with messy kids and a dog! But I'm excited! Going to go check out the mall and such too and I'm we're meeting my friend, her husband, their daughter for lunch!

Now they are talking at work like it could be as early as Feb or March that we move there! Eek!!

I'm totally bummed to Velvet!!! Someday though...someday. If we don't get to WA in 4 years, we'll be moving there when Marc retires in 6 years. The plan is to move to Marysville.

So I'm back!! We got to look at two houses and they weren't quite as bad as I was expecting. Yay! But there were bad points too. The kitchen is absolutely HUGE! I have no idea what I'm going to do with all the cabinet and pantry space. It's awesome! and the laundry room has an actual cabinet and counter in it to store cleaners and stuff which I don't have here. The kids rooms are good size, a little larger than here I think However the master bedroom? OMG it's tiny. We won't even be able to fit all our furniture in there and will have to put our dresser in storage with some other stuff. Oh and the living/dining is OMG tiny too. We'll barely have room for our sectional couch and entertainment center. Probably going to have to put my elliptical in storage too which really sucks!!!

They neighbor hood is small and it's cute. Right on the corner is a sprinkler water park thing. There's also a real water park on base too. The base is super tiny. But that's ok. El Centro itself has so much shopping, it's way larger than the town up in WA that we lived in. Up there we had the shopping on base, walmart, and home depot and that was about it. So much more in El Centro.

So the main thing that is going to seriously suck is the weather. Oh it's going to be so hot there! Other than that I think we'll be pretty ok there! I'm happy that m kitchen will be so huge and that it's a one story house! Will be so much easier tokeep clean and be able to have all the toys in the kids rooms. I'm excited about moving! I just wish I knew when it was going to be. Could be Feb, could be March, could be April.....

Shhhhhh......I have a secret!!! After we move Im getting a kitty!!! I miss having a kitty so much! My baby Jillie ran away just a couple months after we moved here. I think she knew I was going to have another baby and he did NOT adjust well when Donovan got here. It was hard for her but she got over it. Such a normally fearful of the outdoors kitty took off running one day and never came back. I looked for 2 or 3 months on the shelter websites and calling them. Never found her. Anwya.....I absolutely love cats, NOT dogs as you all know the issues we've had with the dog. LOL I cant' wait to have one again!

I am glad there were some positives! Sometimes, rooms look a lot smaller when they are empty, maybe the bedroom is larger than it looks?? Just a thought? When we moved in here the bedrooms looked TINY but now that we have all our stuff here they are perfect.

Good luck and yay for getting a kitty. I personally have come to realize that I do not like cats but I am definitely a dog person. Do you want our cat? lol
