.) Completing the first 3 semesters of my program. It look a lot of hard work, tears, it was an emotional mess for me but I got through it!
.) Stepping up and finding myself a placement so that I can graduate in the spring.
.) Getting Gauge into pre school so we can work on his issues before he starts school in September.
.) Taking Gauge on a 4 hour trip to ride Thomas the train. It was the best day of his life!
.) Getting DK through her first year of dance, and starting her second year. I never thought I would have the money to do this for her and I pulled through.
.) Putting my friends that didn't treat me well in the past, and focusing on the people that I do need in my life.
.) It was sad at first, but I really enjoy watching DK go through her first year of school. She LOVES it and is learning so much.
.) Getting Gauge through his first block of speech therapy so that he would finally start talking. Also potty training him, that was not an easy task. The two kind of happened at the same time.
.) Making a trip to my grandmas house just so that we could help her clean out her garage, some rooms in her house, and to help her donate stuff she had lying around. I didn't realize how much help she needed until I got there. I cleaned her house for her really well too, she can't do it with the hip replacement.
.) I am proud of myself for putting up with my sister for months, so that she could stay here on weekends, or week days with her daughter because they had to do supervised visits. It was frustrating but we got through it.
.) I finally learned to stop being as materialistic as I was in the past, I donated a lot of our stuff. Went through the kids toys and baby toys/ baby stuff. I got rid of a lot of stuff and it feels good. I thought I needed it, but I didn't.
.) I was brave enough to go to the consultation for my breast augmentation. It wasn't easy being topless in a room with 3 other people in it staring at my chest that I hate so much. But I did it and am more motivated than ever to come up with the money to get the surgery to make me feel better about myself.
