I know it's meant to be funny, but it's lame. I don't think it's damaging. I doubt any parents out there are letting their girls off the hook from doing their homework and I know everyone thinks their daughter's are pretty.
It's a failed attempt at humor.

Yes, it is ridiculous and a parent that buys this only make themselves look stupid.

JC Penney pulled it though. They won't be selling it.

I'm glad they pulled it. It's not something I would buy for any girl. Ever.
I'd be interested to know who designed the shirt to begin with.

That's so dumb. It wouldn't have been SOOOO bad had it not said "so my brother does it for me." I mean, it was lame either way but that part just made it worse.
